The Rule of Law Index (ROLI) is one of the governance indicators that evaluate the adherence of governments to the rule of law. ROLI reflects the public’s trust and confidence in their respective governments and justice system, as it measures various factors such as resolution of corruption, observance of due process, cost of litigation, and management of arduous legal processes. This endeavor, periodically conducted by the World Justice Project, surveys hundreds of legal academics and practitioners across the world.
