Amid the socioeconomic fallout caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, economic officials are pinning hopes on the country’s Build! Build! Build! (BBB) Program as a major force to help pump-prime the country towards economic recovery. Launched in 2017, the BBB Program is the centerpiece infrastructure development program of the Duterte administration that aims to spur and sustain economic growth to usher the country’s “Golden Age of Infrastructure”.
