Republic Act No. 11469 or the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act mandates the President to allocate government resources for the treatment of COVID-19 patients, including the establishment and operation of facilities. To implement this mandate, the Department of Health (DOH) ordered health facilities to identify and regularly report the number of COVID-19-dedicated beds and mechanical ventilators (MV).
