The COVID-19 pandemic heavily ravaged economies and disrupted lives. It prompted governments to impose lockdowns and health protocols to control the spread of infection. A year into the pandemic, countries continue to impose minimum health standards, and in some cases, lockdowns or some form of mobility restriction.
